A Victorian figured mahogany cased aneroid barometer by Arnold of Southsea c.1880. The deep turned figured mahogany case with fitting for wall hanging to the rear. Aneroid movement sat behind a white porcelain dial with weather predictions in red and black ornate lettering and bears the retailers name Arnold & Sons, Southsea. The dial sat behind a glazed viewing window mounted in a polished brass bezel with centre reading marker. Superb quality and original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 9" diameter overall x 2.5" deep. Stock number 42858.
