A superb quality and unusual Victorian mahogany 8 day single fusee English dial clock with single chime to the hour, fully serviced and working c.1880. Slim moulded figured mahogany surround to the dial with matching back box; access door to the base and the side. 12" painted dial with Roman numerals and the makers name Radcliffe Bros, Leeds along with serial number 1803, which is sat behind a hinged glazed door with polished brass bezel. Single fusee movement with anchor escapement, wire drive and bell strike to the hour, which chimes a single note to indicate the hour....
