A fine quality late Victorian marble mantle clock with gilt brass trim and 8 day French movement c.1890. The colourful veined marble case with arched top and apron to the base. Gilt brass mounts to the corners of the front and matching feet to the base. Convex porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and original blued steel hands, sat behind a matching convex glass set in a decorative gilt brass bezel. The 8 day French movement with platform escapement, fully serviced and working. Presented in immaculate condition, fully serviced and working.  Measures 7.5" wide x 3" deep x 5" high.  Stock number 40566.
