A Victorian brass cased marine barometer by Dent with engraved brass dial and crescent thermometer c.1880. The original engraved brass dial with weather predictions and scale to the outer edge, plus blown glass mercury action crescent shaped thermometer to the lower half of the dial. The dial sat behind a glazed viewing window with central reading marker. The solid brass dished casing with engine turne bezel and brass hanging mount to the top. Bears the makers name for highly regarded instrument make Dent to the dial. Fully serviced, in full working order and presented in immaculate condition
