A fine quality early Victorian bronze of a boy fisherman playing with a turtle by Achille Collas (1795-1859) c.1840. Superbly detailed study of a boy fisherman sat on a rocky base playing with a turtle, excellent colour and patination throughout. Bears the foundry mark to the rear for Achille Collas. Presented in excellent original undamaged condition. Measures 7" long x 4" deep x 6.25" high. Stock number BA131.
