A Victorian gilt brass pocket barometer with crescent thermometer in the original presentation case C.1880. Two piece silvered dial to the aneroid movement set behind bevel edge glass with mercury action crescent thermometer to the bottom of the dial, the outer dial adjustable to mark feet above sea level. Gilt brass case with engine turning to the bezel and rear edge. Hanging loop to the top. Sat in the original red leather presentation case. Mint unused condition. Barometer measures 2" diameter.
