Victorian Russian Silver and Niello Vodka Measure
A fine quality and collectable engraved Russian silver and niello vodkacup or measure dated 1861. Slightly tappering form with rolled rim and scrole design handle set to the side. The sides of the cup overlaid with niello and engraved with scrole design decoration, cartouche to the front with Russian palace scene; lightly gilded interior. Russian silver mark to the base along with import date of 1861 and importers initials AB. Unidentified makers initials also present. Presented in excellent condition. Measures 1.25" diameter x 2.75" wide inc handle x 2.5" high. ...Stock number 42594.
