A fine quality mid Victorian silver and crystal smelling salts and perfume bottle by collected maker Sampson Mordan, hallmarked London 1879. The circular crystal bottle with two sections. The smaller section for smelling salts with scroll design engraved silver collar and spring loaded top; the top opening by button release to reveal a gilt lined interior and the makers name to the inside of the lid.
