Victorian Silver 11 oz Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Bowl
A fine quality late Victorian solid silver bowl with embossed decoration by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths weighing over 11 troy oz, hallmarked London 1900. Circular form with scalloped and frilled rim, the bowl is embossed and engraved with floral decoration set in scroll design cartouches and infilled with crosshatched engraving. Sat on a tall circular foot, which has a continuous band of floral, leaf and scroll design engraving running around its lower half. Bears the makers mark for London silversmiths and retailers, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Ltd along w...ith clear hallmarks to all sections. Weighing over 11 troy oz and presented in immaculate condition. Measures 7" diameter at the rim x 3.75" diameter at the foot 4.75" high. Stock number 43264.
