Victorian Silver 15 Troy Oz 8" Bowl
A fine quality Victorian 8" silver bowl with embossed decoration and cast lion mask handles weighing over 15 troy oz, hallmarked Sheffield 1860. The solid silver bowl with scalloped flowing design rope twist border rim and flared foot to the base. The bowl sides embossed and engraved with ribbon and bow design swags to the upper half and acanthus leaf design decoration to the lower half and the foot. Cast lion mask handles with ring drops sat to each side. The interior with polished finish and flat base. Bears the makers mark for Sheffield silversmiths Silbray Hall & Co along with ...clear hallmarks. Superb quality and detail throughout, weighs 15.2 troy oz and presented in immaculate condition.
