A top quality Victorian solid and crocodile skin note pad and pencil, hallmarked London 1882. The solid silver frame with rounded corners and heavy quality hinged top, spring release catch to the base. The silver frame inset with immaculate tan coloured crocodile skin to the front and rear, silver owners initials to the front. The catch releasing and the case opening to reveal a fine leather interior with wallets for holding notes, stamps etc to each side, pencil holder to the side with original matching silver pencil. Original blue silk covered note book to the centre in rare un...used condition. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith Fredric Purnell and presented in excellent condition with a superb patina to the hides and perfect silver fittings.
