A quality Victorian embossed decoration solid silver cheroot case with gilt lined interior, hallmarked Birmingham 1889. The six compartment case with decorative flower and vine embossed decoration between each division, matching to both sides. Flange to the edge to aid opening, opens to reveal a gilt lined interior with two securing straps to retain the cheroots. Crisp hallmarks and bearing the makers mark for Joseph Hawkins. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.5" long x 2.25" wide x 0.5" deep. Stock number 36479.
