Victorian Silver Conical Shaped Scent Bottle
An unusual Victorian solid silver conical shaped scent bottle with embossed floral decoration and hinged lid, hallmarked Birmingham 1880. The solid silver vessel with conical shaped reservoir, which is embossed a floral scrole design running continuously around all sides. Hinged snap top lid with matching decoration, the lid opening to reveal a ground glass stopper to the neck of the internal concealed glass vessel. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Horton & Allday, along with clear hallmarks. Superb quality and presented in immaculate unused condition. Width & depth... quoted are at the widest point.
