Victorian Silver Hors D'oeuvres Fork

A beautifully made late Victorian solid silver and mother of pearl Hors D'oeuvres fork, hallmarked Birmingham 1900. Flared prongs to the end of the fork with superbly detailed engraving to both sides, matching solid silver mount to the handle. The mother of pearl handle with rounded end and sides. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths John Gilbert & Co along with clear hallmarks. Heavy quality and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 6.25" long x 1.5" wide at the fork. Stock number 40402.
