A late Victorian silver plate and cow horn dinner gong with original striker on a golden oak plinth c.1900. Golden figured oak plinth with moulded edge, silver plated mounts to the corners and for the cow horn mount. Matching silver plated tip and scroll design mount to the other end of the horn, which is supporting the original gong. Oak handled striking hammer with leather head to the base sat in silver plated forks. Presented in excellent condition with a deep polish to the silver ware. Measures 14" wide x 6.25" deep at the base x 11" high. Stock number 42527.
