Victorian Silver Slide Opening Vesta Case
A Victorian engraved silver vesta case with rare slide opening lid, hallmarked Birmingham 1898. The solid silver case with fine quality chased and engraved scroll design decoration to both sides, hanging loop to the side and matching striking plate to the lid. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Henry Williamson along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition with a fully working mechanism to open and close the case.
