An unusual Victorian solid silver centre opening cheroot case with family crest to the front, hallmarked Chester 1898. The slightly curved case with rounded sides and corners for comfort in the pocket. Unusual split opening doors to the front with family crest to one side, the doors opening by spring release buttons to either side of the case. Opens to reveal a three section interior for holding the cheroots and an original lightly gilded finish. Bears the makers mark for Chester silversmiths George Nathan & Ridley Hayes along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in imma...culate condition with a deep shine.
