A fine quality Victorian silver string box by well regarded maker William Comyns, hallmarked London 1889. The dished shape base with flower and leaf embossed design supported by three ribbon and flower design feet running up to the rim. The raised top with matching design to the base and central hole to feed the string through. Bears hallmarks to both sections and the makers mark for William Comyns. Presented in excellent condition with a tight fitting lid and a deep shine. Measures 4" tall x 3.25" diameter. Stock number 35670.
