Victorian Silver Travelling Scent Bottle
A Victorian solid silver portable scent bottle with writhen decoration, hallmarked Birmingham 1889. The flat sided vessel with rounded corners and sides, screw fit lid to the top. Superb writhen design embossed decoration running continuously around to both sides and matching decoration to the lid. Silver chain to the top for hanging on a chatelaine. Bears the makers mark for John Millward Banks along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine.
