A fine Victorian solid silver trumpet vase by highly regarded maker William Comyns, hallmarked London 1896. Domed weighted base with gadrooned decoration and trumpet shape top forming the vase. Decorated with spiral bands of embossed roses and rope twist decoration below the rim. The rolled over rim with scalloped embossed detail design. Bears the makers mark for William Comyns along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 1.75" diameter at the base x 6.5" high. Stock number 40694.
