Victorian Timber Gilt Rose Vine Mirror

A Victorian timber gilt framed oval mirror with rose and vine design and original glass c.1880. The oval mirror with a superbly detailed timber gilt finished rose and vine design surround, plus an overlay in a matching design sat on the inside edge of the mirror allowing the mirror to show through from behind. Matching rose and leaf design pediment to the top. The back with original boarded finish and secure fittings for wall hanging. Presented in excellent original condition with an age related sparkle to the glass.
