A Victorian turned and carved mahogany cased aneroid barometer with skeletonised movement and porcelain dial, fully serviced and working c.1890. The broad turned mahogany case with carved crest design border and polished brass hanging loop to the top. Skeletonised android movement visible to the centre with porcelain dial sat around the outer edge displaying the weather predictions. Polished brass bezel with bevelled edge glass and central reading marker sat over the top. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, fully serviced and working. Measures 8.5" diameter x... 9.25" high including hanging loop x 2" deep. Stock number 42009.
