Victorian Turned and Carved Walnut Aneroid Barometer
A Victorian walnut turned and carved cased aneroid barometer with visible works, fully serviced and working c.1890. Turned walnut case with open twist design border to the outer edge. Cream porcelain enamel dial with ornate script to the weather predictions and a skeltonised visible movement set to the centre. Bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel with reading marker knob to the centre. Presented in immaculate condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 7.5" diameter x 8.5" high including brass hanging loop to the top x 2" deep. Stock number... 41492.
