A late Victorian turned and carved walnut cased aneroid barometer with skeletonised movement c.1890. The broad turned solid walnut case with ring turning and broad crisply carved stylised leaf design boarder. Aneroid skeletonised movement set to the centre with cream decorative enamel dial. Sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel with central reading marker. Bears the makers name Taylor, Nottingham to the dial, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, fully serviced and working. Measures 10" diameter x 2.5" maximum depth.
