A top quality late Victorian George III style figured walnut mirror with carved and parcel gilt decoration c.1900. Figured veneers and fretted decoration to the top forming a pediment, carved and fretted Prince of Wales feathers to the centre. Complementing apron to the base and carved floral decoration to the sides. The mirror edge with scalloped design forming a boarder and carved mask to the edge with original gilt finish. Original glass giving a period look. Original boarded back with secure wall hanging fixings, presented in excellent condition with a rich colour and original... patina, original gilt decoration in excellent condition. Measures 19" wide x 1.25" deep x 38" high. Stock number 40097.
