A superb 1920's Art Deco style walnut poker and gaming box with cast bronze decorative fitments and original contents. The slightly domed lid with burr walnut veneers to match the sides; patinated cast bronze decoration to the centre in the form of playing card symbols. Matching Art Deco style cast brass flange to the front edge and to the base to aid opening, opens to reveal a fully fitted satinwood lined interior with original contents. The complete contents including two sets of playing cards, dice shaker with original dice, and a large selection of Bakerlite gaming chips in various colours.... Finest quality and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and original patina. Measures 11.5" wide x 8.25" deep x 2.5" high. Stock number 38072.
