A collectable Weekly Telegraph newspaper promotional barometer with turned oak case c.1900. Dark turned polished oak case with white porcelain dial including weather predictions around the outer edge and 'Weekly Telegraph' printed to the top half of the dial. The dial sat behind a bevelled edge glass, which is mounted in a polished brass bezel with reading marker knob to the centre. Sold originally at a reduced rate to regular readers of the Weekly Telegraph newspaper as a promotional item. Fully serviced and presented in excellent original condition.
