William IV Mahogany Desk Chair

A quality William IV solid mahogany desk or elbow chair with drop in leather seat c.1830. The solid figured mahogany frame with bowed back rest which is rebated forming a panel to the centre with a swagged design centre rail set below. The moulded arms in flowing scrole design. Moulded top rail and turned reeded legs to the front with splayed legs to the rear. Newly upholstered dark brown drop in design leather seat. Very sturdy, comfortable and usable, presented in excellent condition with a deep polish. Seat height is 18"
