A William IV period antique figured mahogany brass inlaid double fusee bell striking bracket clock. c.1835. Polished figured mahogany case with carved relief below the arched top. Brass inlay to the base. Original convex painted dial,bearing the retailers name, Monti of Canterbury and opening brass convex bezel front. Double fusee movement with anchor escapement, striking on a bell on the hour. Full working order. Measures 11.5" wide x 17.5" high x 6.25" deep. Dial 8" diameter.
