A superb William IV period rosewood teapoy with original fitted interior complete with mixing jars c.1830. Fine figured rosewood throughout with cushion moulded top and moulding to the edges of the caddy section. Sat on circular pedestal with acanthus leaf carved decorationto the base. Sat on a cirular foot with carved scrole feet below, small concealed castors to the undersides. The lid opening to reveal an original fitted interior with four removable caddies, hinged lids to the tops, and two glass mixing jars to the centre. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich colour and ...patina along with a working lock and key.
