William IV Silver Topped Travelling Ink Well

A quality William IV period solid silver topped traveling ink well hallmarked London 1837. Faceted edge cut crystal vessel with star cut base. Solid silver top with reeded rim to the sides, hinged lid with folding locking nut to the front. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith and inkwell maker Archibald Douglas along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in excellent condition. Measures 1.5" wide x 1.5" deep x 1.5" high. Stock number 41224.
