A late George III period yew wood low back Windsor chair with crinoline stretcher and ash seat in wonderful original condition c.1820. Moulded ash seat with lined edge, bentwood yew back with fretted centre splat and railed back; matching bentwood arm supports. Elegant turned yew legs to the base with supporting bent wood crinoline base stretcher. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich colour and deep polish, very comfortable and useable. Measures 24" maximum width x 16" deep x 35" high to top of chair back x 17" seat height. Stock number 41770.
