A Yorkshire school arts & crafts adzed oak side cabinet by Robert 'Kingpost' Ingham in superb original condition c.1950's. Planked top and panelled sides with single drawer to the top and double cupboard below. The framework all with visible pegged joints and the surfaces with adzed finish. Original moulded handles to the drawer and matching handles to the cupboard, plus complementing original black iron decorative hinges. Carved on the front right hand door with the makers trademark, along with inset makers label in bone located  inside the cabinet. Though Robert Inghams pieces ar...e fashioned in the style of his fellow Yorkshire critters, he was the only one who didn't train with Robert Thompson. Ingham sold his business in 1960 to Acorn industries. This example is superbly made and presented in immaculate condition with a rich colour and patina.
